About Monique Bailey
Monique Bailey is the current Learning Resources Librarian for the Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Law Library and a Legal Research Instructor. She came to Houston, by way of New Orleans and holds four degrees: B.A. - Spanish and B.S. - Biology from Xavier University of New Orleans, Masters in Spanish Translation and Interpretation from UT Rio Grande Valley, and her Juris Doctorate from Texas Southern University’s own Thurgood Marshall School of Law with the class of 2020.
Ms. Bailey is an advisory board member for a local nonprofit and an active community member in Clear Creek ISD where she served throughout 2023 as a co-chair for their Facility Advisory Committee and later, as Treasurer for the VATRE bond that passed in November. She is proud mother of two girls and two boys.
