Non-Discrimination
Policy
Texas Southern University, Thurgood Marshall School of Law is
committed to ensuring equal opportunity for all of its students
and alumni and does not make its Career Services facilities
available to employers who unlawfully discriminate in the
selection of employees on the basis of national origin, sex,
actual or perceived gender, age, race, color, religion, creed,
national or ethnic origin, disability, sexual orientation,
gender identity and expression, genetic information; or
parental, marital, domestic partner, civil union, military,
veteran status or any other basis prohibited by
applicable law.
The Career Services Office requires all employers who use its
services to affirm the statement mentioned above by signing the Non-Discrimination Policy. By signing the policy,
the employer indicates his/her understanding that use of
Thurgood Marshall School of Law Career Service facilities
requires adherence to this policy.
Grievance Policy
Please note that students may file an informal or formal
grievance against an employer who asks discriminatory questions
in any program or activity sponsored or conducted by Texas
Southern University, Thurgood Marshall School of Law. To
file an informal or formal grievance, please contact the Career
Services Office.
