Career Services  > Student Resources & Services  > Employer Recruiting

The Career Services Office recruits legal employers in every major city in the United States to hire our students and new graduates. We work with the TMSL Office of External Affairs to maintain contact with alumni in nearly every state in the country and refer students to these individuals when their geographic focus is specific or interest is in a specialized area of practice.

RESUME REFERRAL PROGRAM
The Resume Referral Program is available to employers who cannot participate in Thurgood Marshall’s on-campus interview season. The CSO gives students a resume referral list of the names and hiring criteria of employers who recruit our students by mail. The employer submits three copies of its resume, or brochure, and the National Association for Law Placement (NALP) Questionnaire to the CSO. The employer's specified hiring criteria is posted to students, and they are instructed as to whether to submit their resumes directly to the employer or have them forwarded by the CSO.
