TMSL Alumna scheduled to attend Shuttle Launching

 Thurgood Marshall School of Law Alumna, Sylvia R. Garcia will be in Cape Canaveral, Florida for Saturday's launch of the space shuttle Discovery.  Garcia, commissioner of Harris County Precinct Two, is scheduled to arrive in Cape Canaveral, Florida on Friday, June 30, 2006, to tour the International Space Station Center (ISSC) and facilities supporting Saturday's launch of the shuttle.  On Saturday, July 1 2006, Garcia will attend the Center Director's briefing at 1:30 p.m.

The shuttle is scheduled to launch at 3:48 p.m. on July 1, 2006.
