The Office of Development in the School of Law was established to accept,
record, and acknowledge all charitable donations. This office is charged
with communicating the mission and interests of the School with prospective
donors. Working in conjunction with the University’s Development
Office, TMSL Office of Development seeks to effectively steward and cultivate
prospective donors through relationship building and visitation. The mission
of the law school is furthered by the receipt of donations from alumni,
corporations, law firms, and friends to support the provision of a quality
education to all students.
WHY GIVE?
There are many reasons to give to the School of Law. One reason is to
help strengthen the reputation of the School. Every gift, whether large
or small, is important to the success of the School of Law. Contributions
help to foster academic excellence, as well as recruit and retain some
of the best students. Giving provides an opportunity for the donor to
give back to the institution that helped him/her achieve educational aspirations.
Giving also provides an opportunity for the donor to feel some level of
accomplishment. When you contribute to the School of Law, you contribute
to the development of our future lawyers.
