1st Year/Property I/506-3
This course offers an introduction to law governing real and
personal property. Course topics include acquisition of property,
interest in land, concurrent ownership, conveyance, landlord/tenant,
land use planning, and the economic and philosophical basis of
property rights.

An examination of the legal and policy issues relating to
local education. A basic theme is the role of local education in a
democratic society. Coverage includes the power and organization of
local governments, the interrelationship among local governments and
between local and higher levels of government, and the
interrelationship between local governments and their own citizenry
and outsiders.
