Philip Jessup International Moot Court Competition

Sponsored by the International Law Students Association, the Philip Jessup International Moot Court Competition is the world’s premier international law moot court competition. The Thurgood Marshall School of Law fields a team in the competition as part of the Institute’s program of international legal education. The competition is a competitive endeavor and the competition has been fortunate to attract some of TMSL’s best oral advocates. Students taking part in the competition will receive two credits toward the Certificate in International and Immigration Law, and if all requirements are met, may qualify for the Certificate with 9 hours instead of 11. The competition is also co-sponsored by the International and Immigration Law Students Organization (see below) the student group affiliated with the IIIL.
