All Faculty and Staff should stop by the Information Services Department before going on a trip and we can make sure your laptop is setup correctly to connect to the High Speed Internet service offered by most hotels.

Many hotels provide wireless connections for their guest. Most laptops are equipped with Intel Centrino mobile technology, which can connect to Wi-Fi CERTIFIED wireless LAN networks and hotspots all over the world, without hunting for a phone jack or plugging in a special card. Some laptops will require a PC card.
