Equal Justice Works and other national public interest law leaders joined to support the enactment of the College
Cost Reduction and Access Act (CCRAA), which was signed by the President in September 2007. According to
EJW, the CCRAA has many implications for public service in the U.S. and enables many more graduates to pursue
public interest jobs without regard for debt, for many years one of the major obstacles for public interest minded
awyers. (Equal Justice Works website)
