My Story

Born Syrian, raised American, I was a witness to the lack of law in the Middle East. I have developed a fascination with the American Legal System and the U.S. Constitution in particular.

I decided to attend Thurgood Marshall School of Law because of its comprehensive and bar-based curriculum.  In my years as a student at TMSL, I developed the essential skills for legal writing and research; arguing an unpopular position; and public advocacy as an enthusiastic speaker. Furthermore, TMSL’s supportive and diverse environment made me realize that I am much stronger and more resilient than I had ever known. Finally, TMSL’s extremely talented professors, staff and students always inspire me to reach higher and give me a new confidence with a determination worthy of those I wish to represent. Upon graduation, I plan to secure a Federal Clerkship, which will provide me with the necessary foundation for my work as a passionate attorney.
