Docia L. Rudley

Docia Rudley, Executive Director of AssessmentDocia Rudley is the Executive Director for Assessment at Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Texas Southern University, where she works with the faculty, administrators, and students to implement assessment initiatives for the Law School. For over thirty years, Dr. Rudley has been an educator and professor, previously serving as a member of the Thurgood Marshall Law School faculty.  Dr. Rudley was selected by the Center for Inquiry at Wabash College to participate as a scholar in the national Teagle Foundation Assessment Scholar Development program.  As a Teagle scholar, she works with the Center for Inquiry to assist faculty and staff at colleges and universities with assessment programming.  She has served as a site evaluator for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), and is a member of the Texas Southern University Assessment Committee. Dr. Rudley has spoken about assessment at law school conferences, including the Summer Institute for Teaching and Learning at New York Law School, the Inaugural Conference for Teaching and Learning at Albany Law School, the annual conference for Southeastern Association of Law Schools (SEALS) and the annual conference for Educating Tomorrow’s Lawyers (ETL).  She is a graduate of Michigan State University and the University of Washington School of Law.
